Bike Track in the
Picnic Field

Aldenham Parish Council will be holding a
Consultation Evening on the application for a lease on the area
known as ‘The Picnic Field’ which is part of the King George V
Playing Fields on Cobden Hill, Radlett.
The applicants wish to lease the field from the Council to
provide a ‘Bike and Motor Bike Track’, with the intention of
teaching the users how to ride bikes and how to maintain them.
This will be a closed facility, with only members being allowed
to use the field under careful supervision.
This Consultation Evening will be held at the Tabard Rugby
Club Clubhouse on 11th September 2008 commencing at 7:30pm.
The agenda is as follows;
There will be an opportunity to see the types of vehicles
involved, and there should be a demonstration on the field.
An introduction by the Chairman of Aldenham Parish Council.
An introduction to the project by ‘Bikers on Track’.
An independent view of the project will be given by
representatives of the Auto Cycle Union.
